Having just written this item, I notice a link at the bottom of my search results to enable personalization of my search results. Clicking the link enables it, and then(!) offers me a link to describe what this means: http://www.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=1593
It seems I can get an RSS feed of my search history, and I can also see (via the search page) the links I’ve clicked on. Unfortunately, 1) the history only starts once you sign up for it so it’s not going to help solve my previously mention problem, and 2) it doesn’t seem to register click-throughs for PDFs (and presumably DOC, PPT, etc links).
